It may cost you as little as 400 euro or as much as 4000 or even 10 000 euros, depending on a boat type, size and time of the year. However, if you divide this cost between all your group, you will realise it’s actually not that much. There are over 300 boats in our portfolio with different price ranges so let us find the perfect one for your group. Just jump aboard and have the best day ever on the sea!

The most comfortable option would be to hire a motor boat or a yacht. We have a great selection of stylish luxury water crafts that are fully equipped to provide the best day charter experience. Check our boat collection or send us a request and we’ll find the perfect boat for you.

The most economic option would be hiring a sailboat, a RIB boat or a catamaran. For both sailboats and catamarans the fuel is normally included in the charter price so you won’t need to worry about any extra bills coming at the end of the day trip.

With such a vast choice of boats to charter in Ibiza, it’s best to start with a budget, charter date and the group size. Just let us know those details and we will start checking available boats for you. When sending your request, please let us know any special requirements, preferred boat type, route or if your date is flexible. This will help us find the most relevant boats for your group. Contact us.

The maximum capacity of the boats is 12 passengers, including adults and children. The crew is not included in this number. The actual capacity of a boat may be less than 12 and that would depend on a licence granted. Check before booking that your boat capacity is adequate for the size of your group as under no circumstances the passengers limits can be exceeded. This is related to the safety onboard and according to the SOLAS Convention (Safety of Life at Sea) set by the International Maritime Organisation. The fines are very high if this limit is not respected.

In case your group is bigger than 12 people then don’t worry. We have a solution for you! We can organise a tandem charter for your group. You will rent two or more boats and cruise alongside together. When stationary, ie. when you stop and drop an anchor you can jump on one boat or move between the boats. Normally for groups between 13 and 20 people the best solution is to rent one big boat of around 42-50ft and one RIB boat.

We also have in our offer a unique yacht that has a legal capacity of up to 30 people onboard. If your group is bigger than 30 people and up to 80 passengers, there are a few group catamarans and sailboats you can choose from. Simply send us a request to find out more.

Yes, in a majority of cases you are welcome to choose a route for your charter. The usual direction is from Ibiza to Formentera, visiting Ses Illetes, Cala Saona or Playa de Llevante and Es Calo. The locations of the stops may vary depending on sea conditions, or for example the presence of medusas in the water. The captain is in control and may decide, whenever necessary, to change the route for the comfort of your charter.

In terms of sailboats and catamarans, some routes may not be possible due to the long distance or strong wind. Please consult your route before booking and we will let you know where you could go.

There are many possible routes and you can choose where you would like to go. Here are some route recommendations and possible stops:

Ibiza – Illetes (Formentera)

Ibiza – Illetes (Formentera) – Saona

Ibiza – Illetes (Formentera) – Saona – Playa Mitgjorn

Ibiza – Illetes (Formentera) – Es Vedra

Ibiza – Playa de Levante (Formentera) – Es Calo

Ibiza/ San Antonio – Es Vedra – Atlantis

San Antonio – Saladeta – Margaritas Islands

Ibiza – Route around Formentera

Either way, we recommend you to be flexible with your route choice, especially in terms of the stops and let our experienced captains show you around the best spots in Ibiza and Formentera.

The ideal day charter looks like this: you will board the boat in the morning, around 11am and get ready for an adventure. The captain will discuss the route with you and brief your group on the safety onboard.

Let’s suppose you go to Formentera, which indeed is the most popular route. After 30-45 minutes you will arrive at your first stop. In this case it will be S’Espalmador, an uninhabited island with crystalline waters and white sand. You will dip into the sea, snorkel, have a drink, dance…

After about an hour you will move towards Ses Illetes to drop you off at your for lunch at one of the iconic restaurants (reservation required).. You will hop off the boat and get transported on a dinghy to one of the beach restaurants to enjoy the Mediterranean food and vibe. Your captain will wait for you on the boat.

Once you’re back you can continue your excursion. Time to have some fun. You will move to Cala Saona where you can enjoy Sea Bob, Paddle and Jet Ski. Those water toys are normally not included in the charter price, but we can arrange it for you.

Depending on the time (the charter duration is 8 hours), you can have another stop or decide to go back to the port. Let’s assume you decide to extend the charter (yes, it’s possible), and move to Es Vedra to admire this majestic rock and the special vibe of the place.

Around sunset time it’s time to hear back, so you’re wrapping up the day watching the sunset from the deck of your private boat with a glass of champagne in hand. Can anything beat this view?

For the majority of the boats fuel is not included in the charter price. This is simply because the fuel cost is not fixed and depends on consumption. The amount of fuel the boat uses during your day charter depends on a route and size of the engine(s). The fuel is normally calculated per engine hour and the payment is settled at the end of the charter. You can find out ahead of the charter how much an engine hour costs for your boat as well as check an approximate fuel cost for your route. Simply send us a request and we will get back with all the details.

Yes, a charter can usually be extended at the discretion of the captain. The cost per extra hour varies and it’s usually between 150 and 300 euro. At no circumstances charter boats can circulate at night so the latest time to arrive at the port is before dusk.

Yes, we can find a boat for you that allows overnight stays. It could be a 2-day charter, a week-long or custom duration. The boat usually needs to be moored in the port overnight for your safety, and in case of catamarans, on a buoy in the bay. Take into account that the overnight capacity of the boat is not the same as day charter capacity and it depends on the number of cabins and a legal licence that the boat holds. For example, a catamaran with the capacity of 12 people during the day time may host only, say, 6 people overnight between 3 cabins. Get in touch to find out about overnight options.

VAT, captain, mooring in the base port, towels, insurance, cleaning and complimentary refreshments are usually included in the boat price. We work with over 30 charter companies in Ibiza and each one of them is different. In some cases, companies state the charter price with no VAT, so you will need to add 21%. Some of them (usually catamarans and sailboats) charge the cleaning fee separately, which is approximately 100 euro. Finally, some companies don’t include skipper cost in the charter price, and the fee is from 150 euros. The information of what’s included will be clearly presented in the boat options you will receive but you can always ask us to clarify.

Fuel, crew gratuities and mooring outside of the port base are not included in the charter price. Food or water toys are not included either. As mentioned before, there are various charter companies we work with and what’s not included may change. For example some companies offer free seabob or a free 1hr of fuel for their guests. Our advice is, always check with us what is not included. This information will also be provided along with the boat options you will receive. No hidden costs!

Depending on the charter day and your requirements, you may decide to book your boat well in advance to be able to choose the best vessel. Needless to say, the closer to the charter date, the less options will be available and you may end up having not much choice. Especially during the weekends and in the high season, which is July and August – we recommend to reserve your boat in advance to avoid disappointment. On those dates they are selling like hot cakes! Contact us now.

Yes you may book your charter a day in advance. In those cases, simply send us a whatsapp on +34644546214 to arrange your trip. For last minute reservations during the high season we will need you to decide quickly as it’s not possible to hold the boat and the charters are sold to the one that declares to pay the 50% first.

The day charter duration is 8 hours. It may be extended at the discretion of the captain but you will need to be back in the port before the dusk.

There are half day charters available, mainly in the San Antonio area where a morning or sunset charter is possible. Those last normally between 3,5h and 4h and in most cases have 1hr of fuel included.

Yes, it’s possible to rent a boat without the skipper (aka bareboat charter). You will need to present a valid nautical licence that is valid in Spain. You are entirely responsible for the boat during the rental period and you will be asked to pay the damage deposit before your charter. The damage deposit is usually between €1000 and €3500. If it’s your first time sailing in the Ibiza and Formentera sea we recommend hiring a professional skipper. This will allow you to gather the knowledge and confidence for your bareboat charter. Contact us.

The charter can be booked by paying a deposit of 50% of the value of the charter. You can pay it using a reservation link (Stripe or similar) or via a bank transfer. In case of the bank transfer, proof of payment is required. The remaining 50% can be paid anytime before the start of the charter, for example on the day of the charter in cash or by card. Get in touch now and let us find the perfect boat for you.

We recommend you to take sunscreen, a bikini (well, obviously!), water and snacks. Whilst most of the charters have complimentary drinks included, we recommend to order one of the drink packages we offer. We can also cater any special requests – just let us know what you need. Request more information.

You can usually choose the start of the charter and we recommend leaving at around 11 am. If you decide to start the charter later and end it with the sunset we recommend that you take some blankets or a warm jacket with you as the evenings out on the sea are chilly, especially around the sunset time when a wind can start.

The amount of fuel used by the boat depends on a route and the size of the engine(s). The fuel is normally calculated per engine hour and the payment is settled at the end of the charter. You can find out ahead of the charter how much an engine hour costs for your boat as well as check an approximate fuel cost for your route. Simply send us a request and we will get back to you with all the details.

Yes, of course you can bring children onboard and have a fun family charter! We will provide the appropriate life jackets for their safety so you all can enjoy your sea day experience to the fullest.

Some charter companies allow small dogs to be taken onboard. So if you don’t want to leave your furry friend on the dry land let us know and we will send you available options.

Yes, you can bring your own food onboard. Please let us know if you would like to do that, so we can check if cutlery, plates and a cool box is available on your type of the vessel. Some smaller boats may not be equipped.

Yes, we work with catering companies and private chefs that can prepare delicious food for your boat day. We recommend choosing tapas-style dishes that are perfect for sharing, or refreshing salads, sandwiches, baguettes, fruit platters, cheese boards etc. Please note that only modern boats are equipped in a microwave to reheat your food. If you have any special request related to the catering please let us know and we will arrange it. The catering order needs to be placed a minimum 1 day before the charter and it will be delivered during the morning on the day of your trip. Request the catering brochure here.

Tipping the crew is not obligatory but if you enjoyed your day you may choose to do so. The tip is usually between 5 and 15% of the base charter fee and generally is given in cash (although in some cases it can also be paid by card). A tip should be proportional to the service you received and the amount is certainly at your discretion.

One of the main reasons why the crew will ask you to leave your shoes in a basket before boarding is to avoid damaging the boat. Shoes can damage teak decks and make marks. But really, who needs shoes on the boat anyway?

The distance between Ibiza and Formentera is just 10 nautical miles (19km). It takes around 30-45 minutes to get there on a motor boat, depending on the sea conditions and, obviously, the cruising speed. If you rent a sailing boat or a catamaran it will take a bit longer and will depend on the start location and, the same factors, vessel speed and sea condition.

We offer our clients the following watertoys:

Seabob

Jet Ski

Paddle Board

Flyboard

Yes, the snorkelling equipment is included in the charter fee and available to use.

Although it’s relatively rare, you can spot dolphins in Ibiza. San Antonio bay is the lucky place but there are other locations like around Es Vedra or near Talamanca where dolphin spotting is relatively common. You are most likely to spot a dolphin on a sailboat or a catamaran as for some reason they don’t like the engine noise of the motorboats.

No, you don’t need to worry about sharks when diving into the sea.

Yes, there are jellyfish in Ibiza and Formentera, but don’t you worry. Your captain will be in control and will monitor the sea before you jump in. In case there are many jellyfish around you will simply choose the location and drop the anchor somewhere else.
