You can get to Ibiza by plane of ferry. There is only one airport in Ibiza located on the south of the island near Salinas and close to Playa den Bossa.

You can get to Ibiza by Ferry from the mainland Spain: Barcelona, Valencia or Denia.

Swimsuit, beach towel, sunglasses, party clothes, t-shirts, shorts, dresses, flip flops. Depending on a month you come, consider taking a jacket or cardigan as mornings or evenings can be quite chilly in may or June, as wells as September and October.

No, we don’t recommend drinking tap water in Ibiza. It has not been treated or purified therefore its not advisable consume it.

Drink driving regulations in Spain allow 0.5 gram of alcohol in your blood which means, on average, 2 cañas (small beer) or 1.5 glasses of wine for men and 1 caña or 1 glass of wine for women. Never take the risk of driving under influence. Taxi ride will only cost you 5-10€ per person, depending on a distance.

If you’re staying on one of the villas, they are normally registered with taxi companies so you would not have trouble ordering a cab. Alternatively, you can download TAXI CLICK app from the App Store or Google Play and use your location to order a ride.

Yes, Ibiza is absolutely safe for a woman to visit alone. There is a lot of solo travellers and you will end up meeting lots of people on the island.

We recommend spending a week in Ibiza to be able to fully explore the island and all its beauty.

Of course. But you will end up wanting more. 

Best time to visit Ibiza is… well, depends what do you expect. Normally the busiest months and highest temperatures are in July and August. If you look for a moderate crowds but still warm/hot temperatures then choose June or September. Coming in May or October is still not a bad idea, but you need to know that the sunny weather cannot be guaranteed. In May the sea is still a bit cold, whilst normally in October it has a nice temperature as it has been heated by the sun throughout the season.

According to the book “All the beaches of Ibiza” there are 180 beaches and coves on the island, some of them can be only accessed by the sea.

The highest point in Ibiza is called Sa Talaia and it measures 475 meters. Located near San Jose village, the Sa Talaia hill can be climbed in just over an hour and its a low-difficulty hike. 

Siesta is a time of the day when many businesses shut to allow their workers to take a break from the heat, nap and eat. In Ibiza normally the retailers close from 2pm until 5pm. This does not include bars and restaurants as well as larger supermarkets. Before heading to shop, check the business opening hours.

Hi, Privilege, Amnesia, Ushuaia, Pacha and Cova Santa are the best nightlife venues in Ibiza. Expect crowds, international DJs and whooping prices, even if all you’re after is a bottle of water, it can cost you up to 15€. Tickets at the door are usually more expensive than from the ticket points, also the later you arrive the more the entrance will cost you. 

An entry to the club costs between 30-80 euros, depending on a club and a night. On average you will spend 50 euros to enter a club. A drink in the biggest clubs costs 12-15 euro for a beer, 10 euro for a bottle of water, 10 euro for a shot and more than 20 euro for a spirit + mixer. The clubs don’t serve cocktails.

You may be asked to show your ID upon entry to Ibiza clubs, especially if you look young and the staff may think you could be under 18. Also, some pre-bought tickets are registered with names, in this case you may also be asked to prove your identity to match the one from the ticket. If you are on the guest list you will also be asked to show your document. It can be a passport, ID or a driving licence. In any case, a photo of your document should be enough to enter the club so keep one on your phone.

The most recommended place for your yacht cruise is certainly Formentera. The crystal clear waters that surround this little island have been called the Caribbean of Europe. However, if you don’t have time to spend the whole day on the sea, consider discovering the West coast coves and cruising around the mystical Es Verda isle. 

The legal limit for boat charters in Ibiza is 12 guests plus 2 crew. Even the largest yachts cannot go over 12 guests capacity as per the local law and your skipper will refuse to accept extra people if you bring them with you as it may cost them the license and a large fine.

It rarely rains in Ibiza, especially in summer. The Mediterranean climate results in hot summers and mild winters with over 330 sunny days per year. 8 months a year the average temperature remains above 20 degrees.

You should normally tip 10% in the restaurants in Ibiza. If you are very satisfied with the service, you can always tip more.

January in Ibiza is the coldest month, the weather is around 15-20 degrees with sunshine. All the big clubs are closed and there is not much going on but you can enjoy the nature, explore the island with no crowds and if you like, dip into the sea. Warning: it will be cold. The weather in January is normally quite good, with sunshine and up to 20 degrees during the day, The nights are much colder and there may be wind or rain at any point. There are many local restaurants that remain open all year round, and some smaller clubs organise parties. Temperatures under 10 degrees are exceptional.

Cala Comte, Salinas Beach, Cala Bassa, Cala Nova, Cala Tarida.

To hire a yacht for the day it costs approximately from 1500 to 6000 euros for a day plus fuel cost. On average a yacht in Ibiza costs around 3000 per day. The prices depend on the season (low-high) as well the yacht size. Smaller boats are cheaper than the big ones.

Yes, it may get cold in Ibiza, especially in the December and January. The temperature is around 15-20 degrees and it may be windy, cloudy or rainy. The temperature normally doesn’t drop under 10 degrees Celsius.

Palma de Mallorca is definitely a more “quiet” and relaxed island than Ibiza. If you looking for clubbing + chill then go to Ibiza, if your plan is just to relax you may wanna choose Mallorca.

It depends on a DJ. If you are a beginner you may be playing for free, or for a “beer”. The biggest DJs can get around 50 000 – 60 000 euros per night, if not more.

People from Ibiza are called “ibicenco” (male) or “ibicenca” (female).

Ibiza off season is quiet, all the beaches are empty, all the big clubs are closed. Ibiza’s first club opened in the 60s, yet only around 1980 Ibiza has started to become a party destination. Pacha, Amnesia and Club Ku were opened as well as there was almost no restrictions on parties, that could take place 24/7.
